How to Install ADB Driver For any Android via PDAnet software
While following any rooting method for an Android device, one of the most important steps is to setup the device drivers correctly on your PC/ Laptop before using any rooting tool. I am writing out this guide, as this is the step where most of my readers get stuck, i.e. driver installation part. This guide should work for all Android devices out there and on all Windows versions. I have test this method on a variety of devices and on Windows XP, 7 and 8.
How it Works!
The ADB Driver is often the most frustrating driver to get installed and working. There are several different versions packaged several different ways that are floating around the internet. The easiest method that has the most success that we have is using a free program called PDAnet. Part of the PDAnet installation process also installs the ADB Driver. Get the PDAnet install file below and follow the screenshot guide for instructions on how to use it.
DOWNLOADS There are two file packages. Get either the 32-Bit or 64-Bit package depending whether or not your Windows Operating System is 32-bit or 64-bit. Download: PDAnet 32-BIT Download: PDAnet 64-BIT
Getting Started - Installation
You will only have one installation file based on which version of PDAnet you downloaded(32-bit or 64-bit)
Now run the .exe file to instal pdanet, ensure you enable debugging after connecting you phone to your system.
All you have to to do is just follow the instruction you see on your windows. That all.
